Along with Interizon ICT Cluster, we would like to invite you to join us at Olivia Sky Club (Olivia Business Centre) for the fifth in a new series of 3camp powered by Interizon meetups aimed at bringing together those who came to Gdańsk, Gdynia or Sopot (Tricity) from all over the world and decided to work and live here.

 

At the meetup our guests will share knowledge about IT and related fields as well as talk about living in Tricity from an expat’s perspective.

Nazeen, A PR & Communications specialist moved to Gdansk in early 2017. For her, experiencing life is about travel, diving, reading, people and food. Not necessarily in that order.

20:30 – 21:00 Robert Grisdale, Third Culture Kids

 

The Principal of the British International School Gdansk is Robert Grisdale who has extensive experience in the field of international education. Mr. Grisdale previously worked as a teacher and the KS2 coordinator in the British School Warsaw for seven years. Following this, he was Head of Primary and Foundation at Garden International School, Rayong, Thailand for seven years. In addition, earlier in his career, he worked as a Research Officer at Cambridge University where he worked on a number of publications for QCA (Qualifications and Curriculum Authority) in the UK. Moreover, he is a co-author of a number of Polish Maths exercise books in the series ‚Matematyka wokół nas’. Robert Grisdale has four degrees being a graduate of Cambridge University, where he completed an MPhil in Educational Research; the Institute of Education in London University, where he completed an MA in School Effectiveness and School Improvement; Bangor University, where he obtained a teaching degree in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (PGCE) and Durham University, where he studied Geography (BA Hons). He is also an experienced School Inspector for the Council of International Schools (CIS) as well as an international bridge player. Mr. Grisdale has led the British International School Gdańsk since June 2013.
